Jack White hat während eines Radiointerviews verraten, dass der Nachfolger zu dem The Dead Weather-Debüt "Horehound" im April erscheinen soll. Dem australischen Radiosender Triple J sagte White:

"The Dead Weather are finishing recording the last couple of songs. I'm going to start mixing in the next two weeks, so yeah, it should be out in April."

Jack White verriet außerdem, dass die erste Auskopplung ein Song namens "Blue Blood Blues" sein wird und er selbst anstelle von Alison Mosshart den Gesang übernehmen werde. Einen genauen Veröffentlichungstermin gibt es bislang noch nicht.
