Jay Reatard verstarb aufgrund von Kokainkonsum in Verbindung mit Alkohol, berichtet der Commercial Appeal aus Memphis.
Die zuständige Ärztin begründet die Todesursache mit "cocaine toxicity, and that alcohol was a contributing factor in his death." Jay Reatard verstarb am 13. Januar im Alter von 29 Jahren.
