Von wegen Split! Neues Album!

James Murphy, Kopf und Kern von LCD Soundsystem, hat dem Gerüchten um ein mögliches Ende der Band nun in einem NME-Interview jegliche Grundlage entzogen. Dem 2007er Album "Sound Of Silver" soll schon bald ein neues folgen. 8 Tracks für ihr drittes Studio-Album will Murphy schon ausgeheckt haben, in seinem Kopf zumindest: "I write all my music in my head, I never demo. [...] I get to a point where there are too many songs and I have to get them recorded. I recently felt that. I've got eight in my head - that's critical mass." Das ist schon ganz nah dran an der Kettenreaktion, d. h. er will sich bald daran machen die Songs aufzunehmen, aber wir können nur vermuten: "When I start recording I don't tell anyone not even my manager. [...] I'll go away for a month to a studio outside the city [New York] and do it."
