Nächstes Album birgt Experimente

... das jedenfalls behauptet Babyshambles Drummer Adam Ficek gegenüber dem Daily Star. Auf dem Titelblatt des Klatschblättchens erzählt Ficek, auf dem kommenden Album werde die Band Pop, Tribal Beats und abenteuerliche Experimente in ihren Songs verwursten.

"It’s a really interesting time for us," so der 29-jährige. "Myself, Pete, and Mick [Whitnall, guitarist] are all working on solo stuff as well as the band, plus I’m DJing at lots of festivals this summer, so it’s a real melting pot of ideas. The new tunes are sounding a lot less obvious. We don’t have to throw in the big single any more. There are longer songs on there that are more about the musical arrangement, plus there’s a pumping tribal thing going on – which is great for the others, but not so great for me as it wears me out."
