Big Boi, sonst bei OutKast tätig, legt derzeit letzte Hand an sein erstes Soloalbum mit dem tollen Titel 'Sir Luscious Left Foot ... Son Of Chico Dusty'. Die erste Singleauskopplung heißt 'Royal Flush', mit dabei ist OutKast-Kollege Andre 3000 und Raekwon vom Wu-Tang Clan. Im Internet kursiert der Song schon seit März, offiziell erscheinen soll er Ende Mai. Für den passenden Videoclip konnte Big Boi den OutKast-Videochef Bryan Barber verpflichten. Produziert wurde das Album von Organized Noize, wann es erscheint, steht noch nicht fest, dazu Big Boi: "I'm shooting to finish the album by the end of August."

Ein paar Details verrät der hyperaktive Rapper allerdings schon jetzt: "This album is Big Boi to the extreme. It's like a recession special. I'm talking about what's going on in the world, with everything from rising gas prices to the election. It's just my insights on life up to this point."
