Am 26. April kommt die mittlerweile zehnte Studioplatte von The Roots in den Handel. Drummer ?uestlove erzählte nun, was einen bei 'Rising Down' erwartet: "It's probably our most political album to date, dealing with addiction, nihilism, hypocritical double standards in the prison system, and overall life in Philadelphia."

Die Platte, auf der uns unter anderem Features mit Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli und Fall Out Boy-Sänger Patrick Stump erwarten, soll aber dennoch kein "downer" sein, so der Trommler.

Wer sich einen ersten Eindruck von dem 'Game Theory'-Nachfolger verschaffen will, kann schon einmal in die Videoclips zu 'Get Busy' und '75 Bars' linsen.
