Paul Smith von Maximo Park hat sich jetzt darüber beklagt, dass viele neue Künstler Musik vornehmlich des Geldes wegen machten. Der Daily Record zitiert ihn mit den Worten: \"There's too many people trying to be like something else to fit in and make money. I was never in a band to make money, I was in it to do the best for myself and to play alongside other people who have the same ideas. Whatever kind of music you make, you just do it for the love of it and feel like you're not being taken advantage of. There's always music industry types who try to change your songs.\"
