Dass Elbow im März ihr viertes Album 'The Seldom Seen Kid' veröffentlichen, ist ja eine nicht ganz taufrische News. Sänger Guy Garvey weiß uns aber mit Neuigkeiten und Anekdoten zu versorgen. Diesmal erzählte er über die Zeit im Blue Print Studio, in dem die Band aufgenommen hat: \\"We moved into this smaller area upstairs, just the five of us. Not knowing when the album would come out or what label it would be on gave it this backroom conspiracy feel. It was quite exciting.\\"

Und einen prominenten Nachbarn hatten sie dort auch: \\"While we were recording people like 50 Cent were coming through town and using the studio downstairs. We quite enjoyed being the people in the attic, the freaks!\\"
