Dominic Howard, Drummer der britischen Band Muse, lobt Radiohead für die zeitlich begrenzte 'Pay what you want'-Politik bezüglich des Downloads von 'In Rainbows'. Howard wörtlich: \\"They’re unsigned which means they are in a different position to us, so they can do whatever the hell they want it’s cool they did. Bands are constantly thinking of the best ways to release music and a band like that doing it on their own shakes up the record companies and helps them realise that they are gradually becoming more and more useless. It’s a great time for music and a great time for bands, but not for the record companies.\\"

Na ja....ein bitterer Beigeschmack bleibt. Als wenn das jetzt eine Revolulution wäre.....So eine Aktion können sich ausschliesslich Künstler mit einem hohen Fanaufkommen leisten. Und dies ist lediglich durch hohe Qualität über einen langen Zeitraum oder mit einem wie auch immer gearteten Hit bzw. dem üblichen "Am richtigen Ort-zur richtigen Zeit", zur Stelle zu sein, zu erreichen.
...Also Bitte....Dieses Pseudorevoluzzergerede ist nicht angebracht......noch nicht...
