Manic Street Preachers wollen anlässlich ihrer kommenden Winter-Tournee eine Weihnachts-Single aufnehmen. Der sonst eher als Miesepeter bekannte James Dean Bradfield erläuterte die rührselige Idee wie folgt: \"I think we've got a bit more of a love of life and sense of humour than people realise, so a Christmas tour for us is always really cool. The one thing we are thinking about doing is trying to write a Christmas song, because we regard that as a great, great tradition - Christmas singles are just really cool.\" Allerdings ist das gute Stück ja noch nicht geschrieben: \"We've always got lots of little plans and dreams and that's one of them at the moment.\"
