Neue EP fertig, Album bald auch

Eigentlich touren die Briten immer noch mit ihrem aktuellen Album 'Empire' im Gepäck durch die Festivallandschaft. Im Geiste bereiten Kasabian aber nun den dritten Full-Length-Streich vor. Fleisch geworden ist allerdings bereits eine EP mit dem Titel 'Fat Fuse', die im UK als Wartezeitverkürzer am 03.09. als Limited Edition 10\" Vinyl veröffentlicht wird. 'Fat Fuse' beinhaltet Songs, die die Band in den Tourpausen daheim in Eigenregie unter der Aufsicht von Gitarrist Serge Pizzorno aufgenommen hat und ist auch als Belohnung für den Support in der Heimat, insbesondere während der noch laufenden Festivalsaison zu verstehen, wie Pizzorno verrät: \"Because we're just doing all these festivals we thought 'Why don't we just put one out and crack on.\" Strike while the iron is hot, hätten Manowar gesagt.

\"I'm in a really, really rich vein of form as far as songwriting goes. I'm in a really good patch where everyday something happens,\" so Pizzorno weiter. \"There was no point in saving it you know, because we've got equally good songs for the album. So this marks this summer and what we're doing at the moment. I think the fans who first got into us, they'll really appreciate it, they'll feel we've not disappeared into fucking arenas and all that. It's like, 'There's a bit more music for you for people to enjoy.'\" Was ja grundsätzlich mal keine schlechte Haltung ist. Ein Tracklisting gibt es noch nicht, genauso wenig wie einen konkreten Zeitraum, in dem Album Nummer drei nun bei uns eintrudeln soll.
