Ende Februar soll 'Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants' erst erscheinen, aber schon wärmt Noel Gallagher die Medienmaschine auf altbekannte Weise mit flotten Sprüchen und Brudersticheleien an.
In einem MTV-Interview zum Thema Online-Launch ihres neues Videos zu 'Go Let It Out' (nur zu bekommen über nme.com) bekrittelte Noel die Beteiligung seines Bruders Liam ('the singer') an der Story des Clips: 'Well, to be honest with you, what happened was the director (Nick Egan) decided that he was going to get the singer to work on the idea with him. Now if anybody's in a band out there, one thing you don't do is let the singer have creative input on any fucking thing, because they're useless.

They're good at singing and looking good, and that's about as far as it goes. So the singer and the director hatched this plan, and of course it's rubbish.'
Schön, dass man sich noch auf ein paar Dinge im Showgeschäft verlassen kann...
