Tricky veröffentlicht zwar am Montag sein neues Album \"Vulnerable\", der TripHopper beschäftigt sich aber schon längst wieder mit zwei neuen musikalischen Projekten. Nearly Goddess, so der Titel eines elektronischen Albums mit 14 verschiedenen, ausschließlich weiblichen Gastsängerinnen (u.a. Kelis, Polly Harvey und Miss Medusa), ist bereits komplett eingespielt. Tricky gegenüber dem Internetmagazin Burnitblue: \"I’ve just done a new album called Nearly Goddess. It’s more electronica and I’m using samples. I did the album in like three days. It worried me but then I listened back and I thought, nah, you can’t recognize any of these samples, it’s alright! I’ll get this out this year; I’m having business meetings now.

I don’t like this one album every two years lark.\" Sein anderes Projekt firmiert unter dem Namen Rodigan and Tricka und stellt eine Zusammenarbeit mit dem jamaikanischen Reggae Künstler Rodigan da. Tricky dazu: \"It’s the first urban album I would have done, and where I’m playing the main vocalist. I’m a rapper on it. It’s a cross between Jamaican and English. It’s got a two-tone vibe on it, it’s kind of like reggae, two tone and hip hop\".
