Endlich und mit einiger Verzögerung wurde es auch bei uns veröffentlicht: das Albumdebüt des Londoner Singer/Songwriters Jeremy Warmsley, der die großen Gesten von Rufus Wainwright ebenso zu lieben scheint wie guten Electro oder den Pop-Appeal der Beatles. Für Intro schrieb der Kumpel und ehemalige Toursupport von The Shins über die schönste und zugleich schlimmste Party seines Lebens: “I once went to a party that was both the worst and best party I’ve ever been to. Every party has its peak – some peak at the start, when everyone’s excited about what’s still to come, and some peak at the end, when everyone’s tired and happy. The ones I go to tend to peak either about an hour before I arrive or an hour after I leave. But this one was all peak. There was dancing, and soul music, and I rode around on a tiny tricycle. It was all great until someone died. Apparently he’d had the most fun it was possible to have, all at once, and his central nervous system just gave up. Ever since then, I’ve been wary of parties. I just stay at home and think about what I’ve done.”
