das drehmoment records is a Berlin based record label and recordstore for electronic music and is primarily influenced by Old/New School Electro, Robodisco, New Wave, Minimal, Synth Pop and Dark Electronics.
TG, the owner of the record store, started it after he published his first release in cooperation with genetic music in 2001 - the first 'das drehmoment' compilation.
In 2002 Divider 'Trashpop for Lovers' has been the first release on das drehmoment label.
But the intense work on the label began finally in 2003, when Agatha Kapitata and TG decided ad hoc at a party to release a record together. From that idea out of drunkness, the final product '002 VA. das drehmoment - dreht weiter!' was realised in the end of 2003.
In the beginning of 2005 Agatha Kapitata took the label over and started to force it – that was the originally birth and from then on it was officially dubbed 'das drehmoment records'...
Every eastern and every beginning of November the label shows their best artists and friends on a special das drehmoment label party.
